Our client is currently looking for a Merchandise Planner to join their team, this is a rare opportunity to join an established retail apparel brand.
Responsibilities:
- Work with stakeholders to find sales opportunities in the Australian market and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Create weekly financial plans for sales, profit, and inventory to help the business grow.
- Develop pricing strategies to increase sales and profit while staying competitive.
- Update sales forecasts based on current performance and share new projections with teams and leaders.
- Design allocation strategies to match merchandise plans and inventory needs across stores.
- Plan product assortments (item, color, size) for each category to boost sales and manage inventory.
- Place orders for seasonal and regular products to maintain optimal stock levels.
- Collaborate with Marketing and Store Operations to align product strategies.
- Collect feedback from customers and store staff to identify new opportunities and ensure the right product lineup.
- Coordinate with in-store merchandising teams to set up monthly layouts in stores.
Experience:
- Min 2 years Merchandise Planner experience
- Apparel experience would be ideal but not necessary
