Our client is currently looking for a HR Manager to join their team, this is a rare opportunity to join an established retail apparel brand reporting into the HR Director working with an established Global Business.
Responsibilities:
- Assists the HR Director in achieving top performance and creating plans to boost business results.
- Concentrates on talent assessment and learning programs for store associates, supporting their growth and performance.
- Works with Store Management and Area Manager on HR issues like hiring, onboarding, employee relations, training, health and safety, and HR administration.
- Helps leaders and employees solve work-related problems, balancing employee needs and company goals
- Create and manages talent programs for employees to improve hiring, retention, productivity, and profitability.
- Ensures all HR policies, procedures, and laws are followed.
- Advises the operational management team on business needs, identifying and fixing communication or process gaps.
- Leads initiatives to improve the associate experience, reduce turnover, and address training needs.
- Trains managers on policies like equal employment opportunity and preventing bullying and harassment.
- Manages HR tasks such as payroll, benefits, record-keeping, compliance, compensation, investigations, and employee relations.
Experience:
- Min 3 years HR Management experience, ideally within a retail background
- Bachelor’s Degree required.
- Proficiency in full cycle recruiting including experience with applicant tracking systems.
- Knowledge of employment law framework and practices.
- Has experience handling all areas of labor and employee relations, including managing dispute resolution issues.
